## How to Install or Uninstall a map in ASA. ### 1. Installation. * Right-click on Ark: Survival Ascended in your Steam library. * Select "Properties". * Go to the "DLC" tab. * Check the boxes next to any maps you want to download or install. * Apply the changes and restart Steam if necessary. ### 2. Deletion of a DLC * Right-click on Ark: Survival Ascended in your Steam library. * Select "Properties". * Go to the "DLC" tab. * \*\*UN-\*\*Check the boxes next to any maps you do not want to download or install. * Apply the changes. Exit Steam and restart your PC. (The map DLC will still be in your files. Follow the next step to remove the Files) * Uninstall ARK ASCENDED in the Steam APP * Reinstall ARK ASCENDED. This should now reinstall the game without the Selected DLC. ### In case of DLC corruption, Follow **## 2. Deletion of a DLC** instructions, Then Follow **## 1. Installation** instructions, and then verify till ARK shows 0 files missing. ## CrossARK Transfers There are limitations as to how items, creatures and survivors can be transferred through the normal mechanism: They can only be transferred within the same server cluster. 50 stacks in the Data tab, 30 Dinos in the Dino tab and only **250 in your inventory if you transfer (INCLUDING your Custom Cosmetics tab items).** ### Temporary Restrictions on CrossARK transfers: * If you’re transferring or ascending to another server with an Armadoggo or Veilwyn in Companion Mode, be sure to exit Companion Mode first. Leaving it active may cause issues during the transfer. * Please avoid transferring while you have a template in the incomplete phase to avoid potentially getting into a bugged state. ### Epic Online Services: EOS has been randomly experiencing an outage which is impacting the ability to join servers and resulting in *Unknown Error/unable to join*, *content failed to load*, and issues with servers listing. If you fail to transfer servers, please check Epic's Status Page here: ### No transfer items: Specimen Implant; Boss Heads; Element {Any type}; Gacha Crystal; Event items; Bee hive; Filled Fish Basket; Apex drops. ***Transfer Workaround -*** place the items inside a dino then use the SCS pod to cryo the dino. You may now transfer with the item in the inventory of the dino while in your inventory. ### No Foreign Dinos allowed transfer into Aberration. Flying creatures of all kinds and gliders from other maps. Large carnivores. Modded dinos are not allowed on Aberration. Except for any mod specifically meant for Aberration. These dinos will not unpod once on Aberration. Once the XP bar fills, feed it from the last slot of your hotbar. Repeat the task-feed cycle until fully tamed. To tame these cute snow foxes you must find the "Master Copy" first. Sneak up on the "Master and claim it" Its that simple. Be sure to be crouched or in ghillie because as soon as the "Master" aggros onto an enemy they will proceed to teleport near/around their target and attack them then promptly teleport back to their original location. Every attack they land will inflict frost. Frost will slow your movement speed and stacks up to 30, at which point the target will take triple damage.
