## About This Expansion Map:
Embark on an epic odyssey in the world of ARK with Astraeos, developed by Nekatus in partnership with Nitrado! Explore this vast, breathtaking map, steeped in Greek mythology, where majestic mountain ridges and marble cliffs meet pristine white sand beaches and a paradise of cherry blossoms. Spanning over 264 square kilometers, Astraeos is brimming with stunning scenery, ancient ruins, and sacred temples. Confront powerful new bosses, enhanced alpha dino variants with valuable loot, and a fearsome miniboss lurking within mysterious caves.

**A sprawling 264 sq km map: With over 70 sq km ready to explore at launch,** uncover every corner of this massive new world. This Greek inspired map presents Ancient ruins and sacred temples: Claim these historically inspired sites as your own. Challenging dungeons: Explore these loot-filled labyrinths at your own risk. Level up your loot: Blessed by Zeus himself, conquer OSDs, Element Veins, and loot special Supply Drops! Powerful new bosses and minibosses: Feeling Herculean? Test your skills against these formidable mythological foes!
**Diverse biomes:** Journey through landscapes inspired by the Mediterranean coast, the serene beauty of cherry blossoms, and the rugged terrain of Appalachia. An expansive ocean ecosystem: Uncover the mysteries hidden beneath the waves. A Volcanic Island with strange wyverns.
**A Teleportation system** for fast travel between all the Player spawn areas on the map. Hold R (PC), X (Xbox), Square (PS5) to open the radial menu and choose your destination.

Many are Alpha, Mini Boss, and Guardian class and can not be tamed.\
**Enhanced Alpha Creature variants:** Hunt these unique **Astral** creatures for valuable loot. \
Kirayli - Sheep Miniboss, CaveMinotaur - Miniboss, Natrix the Gorgon - Guardian, Thodes the Cyclops - Guardian, Thanatos the Destroyer - World Boss.\
**The Maeguana:** a striking Maewing variant. Tamable and breedable.

**Astraeos - Mythological Creatures Mod:** These tames spawn on Astraeos Only.\
**Minotaurus:** A strong mount. Knockout tame and breedable. \
**Seahorse:** A versatile water mount that can harvest pearls. Knockout tame and breedable. **Cyclops:** A beast of a creature, strong as a giga but with better stamina. Knockout tame and breedable.

### Adding Astraeos to your ASA Steam account?
To add Astraeos to your ARK: Survival Ascended Account, you'll need to purchase the Astraeos DLC. Once purchased, it should be automatically available and integrated into your official server client, making it a seamless addition to your ARK worlds. You'll be able to access Astraeos through the map selection menu when setting up or joining servers.\

How To Join Astraeos
1. At the main screen when Ark opens follow these steps to join the map that your character is on: 2. Hit tilde key to open the command. Just under Esc key on your keyboard 3. Type or copy and paste this command just from the open part!!!! This will direct connect you to the servers without having to go through the server select screen.
There are two ways to get the mods for the server.
Just load into ASA, go to the server browser, find The Pack servers, Click Join on the one you want, it opens a menu with a list of all the mods, Click Join and it will then install all the mods before loading into the server. If it times out, repeat the process. After all the mods are installed you can just join.
Or you can add them one by one from the Quick List found when clicking this link!

### **Major Astraeos βLemnokisβ Content Update this June!**
The first major update of Astraeos comes with a new island - Lemnokis! A massive landmass with many biomes. Snowy redwoods, warm redwoods, valleys, forests and combined with many bigger and smaller building caves, even a glacier cave. Lemnokis is also the home of the first duo-miniboss: Kalydonios & Erymanthian. Two massive boars attacking with fire and poisonous gas! The ocean areas will have new deep-sea areas full of resources and a special new place out in the ocean - The Maelstrom!
### OSDs on Astraeos and Extinction Building Rule
**If youβve built near potential OSD drop zones, we strongly recommend relocating your base before the patch goes live on July 15th. 2025.**
Wild Card is making a key adjustment to OSDs on **Astraeos** to address a bug. **Starting July 15th**, when an OSD lands, it will now destroy any nearby player-built structures within its impact radius. This will be the same radius used for OSDs on **Extinction**.
